Young people and school leavers

Help give young people a head start in finding a job
CRS Australia can help young people – students, school leavers, university graduates – with a disability, injury or health condition to find and keep a job.

Who can we help?
To be eligible, the student must have a disability, injury or health condition requiring educational support and:

  • be in the last 6 months of full-time secondary school and considering post-school options OR
  • be a full-time student undertaking a school based apprenticeship recognised by the Australian Apprenticeship Centre OR
  • be a full-time student who is interested in working part-time outside school hours AND
  • have left full-time school within the last 12 months OR
  • register with a Disability Employment Services provider by participating in a recognised State or Commonwealth funded transition to work program.*

How can we help?
Each year, we help over 10,000 people with a disability, injury or health condition find and keep a job. We have a qualified team of allied health professionals to work with young people.

Our programs are tailored to each individual’s needs and abilities and include:

  • assessment and review of the impact of the job seeker’s injury, health condition or disability on their ability to work
  • vocational counselling to determine interests, transferable skills and employment goals
  • job search assistance and linking with local employers,
  • six months support on commencement of employment.
