Computer workstation set-up training

Many jobs involve working at a computer workstation.
Occupational health and safety (OHS) practices need to keep up with the changes in office-based work to eliminate or reduce the risk of pain, discomfort or injury to workers.
CRS Australia’s computer workstation set-up training:
- focuses on the way the body interacts with the configuration of an employee’s workstation
- is of a shorter duration so often fits easily into an organisation’s scheduling requirements.
Training elements include:
- prevention of musculo-skeletal disorders related to workstation set-up
- education and practical instruction for setting up/adjusting workstations.
Workstation review
As an additional service, a brief individual workstation review can be performed by the facilitator after the training to ensure employees’ implement the training principles.
A workstation review is also recommended for staff with particular needs.
