CRS Australia knows how important it is for staff to strike a balance between work and your personal life. We support this by providing a range of policies, practices and benefits that encourage flexible work practices so you can achieve that balance.

  • Flexible hours
    Flex time allows you to vary your start and finish times around agreed core attendance hours. Where operationally possible, flex time may be accrued for work in addition to the core hours. This accrued time may then be taken at a later date. Our Collective Agreement also provides the option for staff to propose a substitute date for a public holiday to use at a later time.

  • Part time
    CRS Australia actively supports part-time arrangements. Many CRS Australia staff work part-time as we believe this allows them to achieve the best balance between their work and personal lives. Many of our vacancies are also advertised as full-time or part-time. Part-time staff can also access flexible work hours and accrue flex-time (subject to operational requirements).

  • Leave
    CRS Australia's Collective Agreement contains generous provisions for long service, personal, recreation, defence reservist, emergency service volunteer, compassionate, war service sick, adoption, maternity paternal and miscellaneous leave to allow you to balance your work and personal life. Dependant on operational requirements, leave without pay may also be available.

  • Purchased leave
    Our Collective Agreement provides staff (with 12 months service) the option of purchasing additional recreation leave of up to 4 weeks subject to operational requirements. The cost of this is simply deducted from your pay each fortnight.

  • Child and aged care advisory support
    CRS Australia staff and their immediate families also have access to a free child and aged care advisory service. This service is an information and resource service assisting employees to balance their work and personal life commitments.Back to top
