WA businesses announced diversity and safety winners

23 April 2010

Six businesses from Western Australia won CRS Australia Employer Awards last night, for their outstanding commitment to disability employment and workplace safety. These businesses were presented their awards by CRS Australia’s General Manager, Margaret Carmody, and WA Divisional Manager, Peter Davies, at the 2010 WA Employer Awards ceremony held at Fraser’s Restaurant, Kings Park in Perth.

In the disability employment category, winning employers are selected based on their creativity, innovation and commitment to providing training and employment opportunities for people with a disability, injury or health condition.

For the injury prevention category, winners are selected based on their outstanding commitment to providing a safe work environment for their employees.
Peter Davies, WA Divisional Manager, CRS Australia, said, ‘Congratulations to those employers who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to finding training and employment opportunities for our job seekers and to workplace safety. Without their continued support and dedication, CRS Australia just couldn’t successfully achieve such positive results’.

‘Our employers are so valued and should be extremely proud of their achievements,’ said Mr Davies.

The following six winners were announced on Thursday 22 April:
