Victorian and Tasmanian businesses announced diversity and safety winners

Five businesses from Victoria and Tasmania won CRS Australia Employer Awards last night, for their outstanding commitment to employing people with disability and workplace safety. These businesses were presented their awards by CRS Australia’s Acting General Manager, Carl Princehorn, at the annual Victoria and Tasmania Employer Awards ceremony held in Melbourne on 5 May.
Winning employers are selected based on their creativity, innovation and commitment to providing training and employment opportunities for people with a disability, injury or health condition.
For the injury prevention category, winners are selected based on their outstanding commitment to providing a safe work environment for their employees.
Carl Princehorn, Acting General Manager, CRS Australia, said, ‘Having partnerships with local businesses is an integral part to CRS Australia being able to achieve such positive results, which in turn has such an encouraging impact on the lives of our job seekers.’
‘I would like to congratulate those employers who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to finding training and employment opportunities for our job seekers and to workplace safety,’ said Mr Princehorn.

Injury Prevention Award
- City of Casey, Narre Warren, VIC
Commendation Award
- Running Boards Pty Ltd, Burwood, VIC
- Elshafie Pharmacy, Burnie, TAS
