Social services
CRS Australia provides three structured social support Job Capacity Account services. Other social support services can be arranged as required.

One-on-one service.
Who is it for?
Job seekers who have personal, medical or social issues that are impacting on their ability to work, such as:
- accommodation problems
- relationship breakdown
- family conflict
- social isolation
- financial problems.
What is the aim?
To address job seeker’s personal and social issues and assist them to make links with community services and allow them to focus on finding work.
What does the service involve?
This service will help job seekers to:
- develop coping strategies to deal with difficult situations
- address the barriers that are impacting on their ability to work
- establish links with existing community services and supports, including health services
- improve confidence and self-reliance.
How much does it cost?
Prices include GST.

Group and one-on-one service.
Who is it for?
Job seekers who are lacking motivation and confidence, and are having difficulty choosing a work direction for a variety of reasons, including:
- social isolation
- non-vocational barriers to work
- unclear about suitable work options
- no clear work goal
- poor understanding of the requirements of working life.
What is the aim?
To assist job seekers to increase their motivation and confidence, identify a realistic job goal and develop an action plan to achieve that goal.
What does the service involve?
This service will help job seekers to:
- combat social isolation
- identify suitable work options for their condition
- manage barriers they face in returning to work
- discover work skills and preferences
- develop an understanding of the impact of their condition on their work life
- match suitable job options to the local labour market
- increase motivation and confidence to enable engagement with a Job Services Australia provider.
The service focuses on counselling, motivating and supporting job seekers to establish strategies to manage non-vocational barriers to work. This is done through an action plan that provides them with the steps towards achieving a realistic vocational goal that is matched to their barriers.

Who is it for?
Job seekers whose ability to work is impacted by psychosocial barriers, such as:
- anxiety
- depression
- low-confidence / low self-esteem
- interpersonal difficulties
- drug and/or alcohol dependence.
What is the aim?
To provide counselling services to help job seekers to manage psychosocial barriers to ensure they are able to make the transition into work.
What does the service involve?
This service will help job seekers to:
- adjust to their disability
- explore family / relationship issues that impact on work
- explore and manager barriers that may arise when job seeking
- develop strategies to manage stress, anxiety and depression
- explore and address personal difficulties with self-esteem, confidence, assertiveness, motivation or decision-making.
