What is a rehabilitation consultant?

CRS Australia's rehabilitation consultants are qualified allied health professionals employed to provide high quality disability management services to job seekers and clients with a disability, injury or health condition.

I work with a great team who support their job seekers and each other professionally and personally.
What more could I want!
Marie, Rehabilitation Consultant, South Australia

CRS Australia provides case management to job seekers to manage their disability, to minimise the impact of their conditions in the workplace and to gain sustainable employment.

We will provide you with specific training and development activities to ensure you have the necessary skills to effectively case manage job seekers into employment.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary team environment, with a high level of autonomy and the support of your manager and colleagues.

Rehabilitation consultants can be involved in a range of services including delivering disability management programs and assessments of work capacity, specialist disability services, injury prevention services, and injury management services.

The role of a rehabilitation consultant includes working with:

  • job seekers, individually and in groups, to help them manage the barriers they face in getting work, preparing them for job searching and supporting them once they get a job
  • employers to locate job opportunities for CRS Australia job seekers, manage return to work for injured employees, and to provide workplace safety and injury prevention services.
  • community groups to keep up-to-date with local training, disability programs and employment market opportunities.
Working for CRS Australia has presented me with continuous challenges, support, recognition and a work-life balance.
