Adjusting to the challenge of change
Our qualified rehabilitation consultants understand that it is normal to feel some level of stress or anxiety when making decisions or starting a new activity.
In a rehabilitation programme, you may find it challenging when:
- you are first referred to us
- you attend your first meeting
- looking for work
- starting on-the-job training
- starting a new job
- exiting from your programme.
If you are a job seeker currently on a CRS Australia programme, ask your rehabilitation consultant about accessing fact sheets to help you manage the stages in your programme.
Back to topAsk your rehabilitation consultant if you need help with:
- keeping the balance between work and home
- confidence and self esteem
- exercise
- transport
- caring for others
- financial worries
- referrals to complementary services.
At CRS Australia we will make sure that you get and keep a job that is right for you. We understand that:
- attracting and retaining critical skills is important to the Australian economy
- mature age workers have a large range of skills gained from past jobs and life experiences
- most mature age workers adjust well to change
- mature age workers are a positive role model in the workplace
- employers value the stability, experience and knowledge that mature age workers offer

Back to topCRS Australia has a commitment to provide flexible rehabilitation programmes to the Indigenous community across Australia. As Indigenous cultures are so diverse, it is necessary to have an understanding of local traditions.
To gain this understanding, CRS Australia rehabilitation consultants work closely with Aboriginal community elders and leaders, Centrelink Aboriginal Liaison Officers and Aboriginal people working in other government departments.
CRS Australia has a strong presence in rural and remote areas.
Back to topNon-English speaking backgrounds
CRS Australia's consultants are experienced in helping people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

The Centrelink rate estimator (CRE) helps to estimate the impact of extra income from work on your pension or benefit.
