What is an injury prevention coordinator?

Injury prevention coordinators deliver workplace health and safety services to employers via a network of qualified allied health professionals.

Injury prevention coordinators have experience working in service delivery teams and expertise in occupational health and safety and ergonomics.

In addition to service delivery tasks, injury prevention coordinators take on the divisional responsibility for induction, coaching, mentoring and professional leadership of new injury prevention team members.

Consultants are part of a national 'virtual' team responsible for delivering a range of local and national workplace health and safety services.
