CRS Australia helping job seekers in Chermside
7 October 2011
Dianne Fletcher, General Manager, Rehabilitation and Assessment Services, today officially opened CRS Australia’s new Chermside office.
The Chermside office relocated to Galleria Building, 831 Gympie Road to provide services and programs for people living in the Chermside region.
Dianne Fletcher said, ‘The Chermside team has helped more than 72 local job seekers facing significant barriers find employment in the past financial year.’
‘The team maintains strong links with the local community, including health organisations, to ensure Chermside’s disability employment needs are met.’
‘We’re able to effectively cater for employers with staffing needs as well as our job seekers in their search for suitable jobs,’ said Ms Fletcher.
CRS Australia has strong working relationships with local employers such as Zillmere Veterinary Surgery.
Karen Koks, Owner/Manager at Zillmere Veterinary Surgery, has benefited from hiring a CRS Australia job seeker.
‘Last year I was contacted by CRS Australia about a job seeker who wanted to pursue employment in the veterinary industry,’ said Ms Koks. ‘The job seeker proved to be extremely capable and enthusiastic and rapidly became an indispensable member of our team.
‘The support and understanding of both our needs by CRS Australia was outstanding and I would definitely contact CRS Australia for any future job vacancies in my practice,’ said Ms Koks.
The new CRS Australia office is centrally located, easily accessible via public transport links and offers improved job search facilities for job seekers.
Ms Fletcher said, ‘CRS Australia has an expert team of consultants who work with job seekers to help them understand their strengths, obtain new skills and build their confidence so they are ready to enter employment and live independently.’
