Businesses recognised for workplace diversity
11 October 2010
Eight employers who have shown excellence in workplace diversity have been nominated by CRS Australia for a 2010 Diversity@Work Award.
These employers are committed to offering employment opportunities to CRS Australia job seekers with a disability, injury or health condition. Six employers have been nominated in the ‘Employment and inclusion of people with a disability’ category, one in the ‘Employment and inclusion of Indigenous Australians’ category and one in the ‘Employment and inclusion of mature age workers’ category.
Carl Princehorn, Deputy General Manager, CRS Australia, said, ‘These employers are to be congratulated for demonstrating a real commitment to the employment of people with a disability, injury or health condition.
‘Many employers across the country understand and value the skills and commitment a person with disability can bring to their workforce.
‘I congratulate the nominees and recognise all the employers we work with for helping our job seekers to achieve their goals, fulfil their potential and further contribute to their community,’ Mr Princehorn said.
