What is an administrative services officer?

Administrative services officers work closely with rehabilitation consultants, employment services consultants and regional managers to deliver high quality administrative support to local service delivery teams.

My workplace offers me challenges, flexibility and the benefit of being part of a supportive and friendly team.
Josie, Administration Officer, NSW

The role of the administrative services officers is varied and provides for a wide range of responsibilities.

  • resume preparation and tailoring
  • preparation of employment applications
  • various other support tasks.

Administrative Service Officers are usually advertised at the APS 1 - APS 6 level. See the 2004-2008 salary scales for the management and support staffing stream.
