What is an administrative services officer?
Administrative services officers work closely with rehabilitation consultants, employment services consultants and regional managers to deliver high quality administrative support to local service delivery teams.

The role of the administrative services officers is varied and provides for a wide range of responsibilities.
Administrative services officers undertake a range of responsibilities including financial and asset administration, performance reporting, property management services, clerical support and general events management.
There is also the opportunity to be involved with work directly supporting job seeker activities. This may also involve helping job seekers with:
- resume preparation and tailoring
- preparation of employment applications
- various other support tasks.
Administrative Service Officers are usually advertised at the APS 1 - APS 6 level. See the 2004-2008 salary scales for the management and support staffing stream.
